I hope you had a great Christmas and you are ready for further information about  the festival events in Poland.  

So put your bar of chocolate aside and read carefully ;)

Taking into consideration the fact that it’s January, there is only one event ( except for Epiphany which is non-working day so that’s why we like it) considered with this period of the year. I’m talking about Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity which is going to be celebrating the 25th anniversary this year (15th January).

It is a public benefit organization supporting cardiac-surgery, paediatric oncology, kidney diseases, congenital disorders and other things connected with health of the children. 

Every year, thousands of volunteers, carrying branded collection boxes, collect money across the country and every year, millions of people donate money to help sick children improve their health. In return, they receive distant red-heart stickers as a symbol of the warmest thanks . 

The flagship event of the Grand Finale takes place in Warsaw where we can participate in the concert of the biggest polish stars.

Frankly speaking, I was one of the volunteers a few years ago and think everyone should share my experience. Doing good makes you feel good !
